What is your primary product or service?
local and statewide moving. Senior moving with extensive knowledge of local retirement homes and assisted living locations.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I worked for my father in his antique mall business, all aspects of the business. AntiquelandUSA.com He had 20 locations at the time, and knew the business very well including moving. So I decided to go into the moving business because I was so good at moving antiques and customer service.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a small company, which means I hand pick the crews that I have. The guys that work for Hill Country Moving are interviewed extensively. We are very patient and caring of other people's belongings and treating as our own. We all work in harmony as one big family. I treat my guys with respect and in turn they treat the business as their own, which gets passed down to the customers and their needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
one location at the time, and no plans to expand because i feel that if you get to big, than customer service will decline.
