Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy for Depression
TMS is a treatment for Depression, approved by the FDA in October of 2008 for those who have not responded to usual medical treatments. The treatment is non-invasive, non-systemic with minimal side effects. We are the first center in Central Texas to offer this treatment. TMS started here on August 12, 2009; but, Dr. Winston has been treating patients in Austin since 1986.
